well countdown to the match is on.lol it has been seen where people have been betting on us, however theyre betting that we dont lose 6 love or more sooo well see. Ill post in a little while.
O JOY!!! Not only did we not lose 6 love we scored a goal
We still lost but not as bad as Building did to BizAd sooooo we getting there ,maybe by next year....

After a 9 pm hand studio marathon I realized that i like my house for the following reasons : Food, Warmth, Bed, Fast Internet ,Alcohol

Architectural Information and General sources of information

Just some places you can find information:

Wikipedia Although not a valid information source (for obvious reasons) very often, well written articles will have a plethora of information at your disposal IN THEIR REFERENCES SECTION

Answers.com Ok site - sort of a bit concise in presentation although they do grab the information you request from various sources so you get a little variety

Encyclopaedia Britannica Ok very official and stuff, however their not completely free so that's bad. Accurate information however

Great Buildings Online Tons of info and Hi - REs pictures on buildings and a very wide range of information on architects ( depending on the architect of course)

Artcylopedia Well i mean i think you get the point right? It a big glomp of information on art! Naturally architecture is in it so you might just find something useful

CSA Forum Yes theres actually a forum.I was seeing how far back on google my blog is when you write in Utech Architecture(im page 3-5) and i stumbled upon the forum.Next year the forum will be a little more relevant to us, but go check it out, lurk around a bit...might see something

DONT FORGET!
Our UTECH LIbrary!! Yea! get up off your rear and go walk over there and borrow a book.There are actually lots of good books that aren't long or have fine print you know!

What is the purpose of this blog?

I'm a UTECH Student of the Caribbean School of Architecture.This blog will be a account of my experiences over the next four years.

This blog is also so i don't go crazy from all the work.

Partially architecture related.Ill post any helpful comments or resources that i find.However this is mostly a outlet for my randomness and gallivanting across the interwebs
use the labels to filter through the idle stuff.

Sounds Familiar eh?

If you are architecture students you've probably experienced:

-the taste of glue
-changes in your vocabulary: homework to project, ball to sphere, etc
-you don't understand how somebody can spend less than $20 at the supplies store
-you hate people telling you "go to sleep" or "do you still have a lot of work?"
-your friends and you don't have the same concept of work "oh, well do it right before class"
-you've slept more than 20 straight hours on weekends

-you can easily discuss with authority the effects of caffeine on different drinks
-no matter the effort you put in a project, somebody will always say “why don’t you add this�? or “why don’t you change this here�? or “i think that…but…yeah, its ok�?
-you’ve heard all your ipod songs in a week
-you aren’t seen in public without bags under your eyes

-whenever you get invited somewhere, it is followed by “or do you have a lot of homework?�?
-you’ll dance ymca with a choreography without a drop of alcohol in your system
-you write down a quick message with rapidographs, lead holders, markers and ink
-you constantly make up excuses for courses that are not design related why you didn’t do your work
-you have more pictures of landscapes and places than of people
-your worst nightmare consists of not finishing a project
-someone once called you “lazy�? and you wanted them murdered

-you can live without human contact, sunlight, food, but if your plotter’s ink runs out… chaos!!! ( or printers in our case)
-when somebody lends you a Bic pen you look down at it
-you don’t care about sports cars, your favorite car is the one where you can put in your models and your huge computer
-you design spectacular things without the idea of the cost
-you have the modern mark: a blister in your palm’s hand for the constant use of your mouse
-everybody tells you how they admire your work, “but there is no money for it�?
-you’ve gained the ability to sleep in whatever surface: pencils, keyboards, backpacks, your studio mates, food, etc
-you always have the idea that your project will always be recognized
-when you finally have free time to go out you keep thinking “who was the idiot that designed the restaurant’s bathroom?�? “who designed this menu?�? or “who designed this [chair, table, lighting, fork, etc]�?
-you've been at many sunrises, yet you've never seen one
-you need to read all this in a facebook group to realize how weird your life is
